Short Bio:

Pastor Phillip Hoss was born in Bakersfield, CA. His father, Pastor Guy P Hoss, planted and began pastoring the Apostolic Church of Bakersfield in their home in 1965 when Pastor Hoss was five years old. He was involved in the ministry of his father's church at a young age. Ordained in 1985, Pastor Hoss began assisting his father in their home church. Pastor Hoss was elected Pastor of New Life Church in January of 2000. Pastor Hoss has a heart and passion to reach the entire world with the Gospel of Jesus, this desire to fulfill the Great Commission has taken him to various parts of the world preaching the message of 'The Kingdom.' The highlight of his life is enjoying the company of his wife of 26 years, Amelia, and their three children and one daughter-in-law, Guy and his wife Ashley, Chandra, and Raquel.

Direction for 2008 -
We are entered into the most important, changing, transitional times we have known in Church history. If ever there was a season to recieve and understand what God is saying to the Body of Christ, that season is now!
As we embrace this season, I believe the Lord will lead us through the gate of repentance into a broad place of greater relationship which will enable us to hear His voice more clearly, comprehend His will and ways more accurately, and obey His commands with greater precision.
I pray we see a great release and activation of the Spirit of revelation in the lives of all believers (Eph. 1:17).

Let us live each day of this year as if it were our last!
